Asked by: 3195 views Instrument Rating

I was about to leave Sarasota (SRQ) on IFR flight to North Perry (HWO). Pltplan.com suggest route via "BAARY & SSCOT" but these waypoint doesn't exist on victor airways. Does anyone know that the mystery?

    Hi Ami,
Typically, if you don’t see the waypoint on the Low enroute chart, it may be on the hi enroute charts or SIDs / STARs. There are also terminal waypoints that will only appear on approach plates.

In this case, SSCOT and BAARY are RNAV waypoints on the SSCOT1 arrival into KMIA.
