Commercial night landing reqs

Do the night takeoff and landings for this section of the commercial license need to be to a full stop? I know currency for passenger carry are full stop, but this section is not clear.

4(ii) 5 hours in night VFR conditions with 10 takeoffs and 10 landings (with each landing involving a flight in the traffic pattern) at an airport with an operating control tower.

They do not need to be full-stop. The wisdom of night touch and goes I leave as an exercise for the reader 🙂

Thanks, that’s what I thought, but perfect clarification doesn’t come easily with FAA regs.

It looks like a challenging requirement to fulfill in the summer when your local tower is only open 0700-2000. :\
