    That would be:

    LO = Lake Ontario

    LE  = Lake Erie

    LS = Lake Superior

    LM = Lake Michigan

    LH = Luke Huron

    What’s really fun is listening to controllers having to rattle off these plus 10 state names on center frequency every 10 minutes when they update certain Airmets and Sigmets.
