How long do you have to complete your IFR rating and practical test after passing the written knowledge test?

    The Written Knowledge test is only good for 2 years, it should be written on your test results. so unless you want to do the written again you need to get it done in that time frame.

    Keep in mind the examiner will see the date and score of your written test.  If nearly 2 years has passed since the written exam, you can expect the examiner to be more thorough in the oral portion of the practical.
