Solo takeoffs and landings at airport outside of 25 nm

Asked by: 601 views FAA Regulations, Flight Instructor, Student Pilot

I love the what if game, especially when preparing for my CFI Checkride. While reviewing 61.93(b)(1) endorsing a student pilot to practice takeoffs and landings within 25 nm from the airport where the student pilot normally receives training... I understand that its purpose is to expose students to takeoff and landings at another airport (v). I couldn't help but think, if my student's closest airport for such exposure was more than 25 nm away, what endorsement would be appropriate? If possible, I do not wish this training flight to be considered as solo XC, this flights mission is solely for the purse of takeoffs and landings at a different airport. Any assistance would  be greatly appreciated!
