Can I give instrument instruction on tailwheel without tail wheel endorsement?
Asked by: Gyouska90 1501 views FAA Regulations, Flight Instructor, Instrument Rating
Hi all I have asked about being a safety pilot in my friends C185 before while he works on his instrument. Apparently this is legal because I'm a requirement crew member as long as he is pic I can log total time as safety pilot. I recently got my CFII rating and wondering if I can give instrument instruction without being tail wheel rated. I believe I would still not log pic time because I'm not rated in TW but can I give instruction without being PIC? he is PPL with TW so he would be PIC wondering if this could work?
