IRA Knowledge Test Expired – Now what?

Asked by: 1002 views Instrument Rating

Sadly I let my IRA Knowledge Test expire before completing my instrument rating (shame!).  Besides the ground school and written test, I completed 10 hours in the sim and 15 in the air, and now I'm jumping back on the horse to punch my ticket.

Will my original copy of the passing knowledge test report suffice to retake the IRA?  Or will I need another certificate of ground school and instructor sign-off before I can register for another test?

Thanks in advance!

David

An expired Passing KT is adequate for a re-take.

    Good luck.

The expired pass slip is sufficient. I also had to recently retake mine. No instructor endorsement necessary.
