Hello,

I know that the numbers of wing loading / power loading on POH represent capability of Cessna performance. But I still don't get that how and when to use this information.

Wing and power loading have more to do with aircraft design and selecting the proper aircraft for a mission than they do with piloting a given aircraft. Other than extending/retracting flaps, there isn’t much the pilot can do to change the wing loading.

The time to use the information is when you are selecting an aircraft to purchase/rent. If you want a high cruise speed and don’t really care about maneuverability because you just need to get from A to B as quickly as possible with decent fuel economy, you want high wing loading and high power loading. If you are going to do mountain flying into short strips where landing distance and good maneuverability will be key, you want something with lower wing and power loading.

AOPA has a great article on it if you search wing loading AOPA – September 1, 2019.
