The Jacobson Flare – have you used it?

Asked by: 1757 views ,

Have any of you taught The Jacobson Flare to students?  Ever used it yourself.  I had never even heard of it until the last year or so.  I bought the app (it's more of a book than an app).

It doesn't appear to be significantly different than the way I was taught to land decades ago - though there is a lot more discussion on aim point calculation.

I'm just curious about others' insight.....

thanks

I don’t get the gimmick. Of course the aim point is different than the touchdown point. What’s the “calculation?”

If you haven’t seen The Jacobson Flare video by its creator, it explains the technique in detail.

Hi Ray – I have watched the video – I actually bought the book – I’m mainly curious if anyone has been teaching the technique 🙂
