61.195(l) Training on control and maneuvering an aircraft solely by reference to the instruments. In 2020 this portion of 61.195 was updated. The only place you find this wording is in private pilot airplane aeronautical experience 61.109(a)(3) and commercial rotorcraft aeronautical experience 61.129(c)(3)(i).
61.195(l) (lowercase L) aims to address this but uses the word airplane in the main text.
Does a CFI have to have a CFII to provide the training in the above scenarios.
