I thought I had answered your question before, but for some reason the answer did not show up.

Yes, there is material geared just for the commercial helicopter certificate. As I understand it, you were a private pilot airplane and then did a private pilot helicopter add on. So this will be your first commercial test and it will be commercial and helicopter oriented.

You can Google to find study material that is specific to your need. Since Dauntless runs this site and may have gotten their nose out of joint when I gave you a specific suggestion before, I’ll just say that if you Google “Dauntless Commercial Helicopter” you will find one of the vendors that sells such material.

That might explain why my answer also didn’t show.

There’s an iOS app available that allows you to filter by category.

The app then filters the data bank to present the category specific questions, along with those applicable to all.

From my recollection, only a small percentage of the actual FAA questions relate to Helicopter. The majority are common to all categories.

    Good luck.

You just want to be sure that the material you purchase is for the test you are going to take. In other words, the knowledge (written / computer) test or the practical (check ride) test or just the oral portion of the practical test. That is true of every study guide regardless of category and class.
