Stupid IACRA question

Asked by: 2606 views , ,
Private Pilot

I'm a PP-ASEL, filling out IACRA for my PP-AMEL add-on. For "Applicant's Certificate Summary" it shows:

Temporary

Certificate Type:

Ratings:
AIRPLANE SINGLE ENGINE LAND
AIRPLANE MULTIENGINE LAND
INSTRUMENT AIRPLANE

But obviously the only ones I currently have are ASEL and Instrument Airplane. Likewise, the 8710-1 reads:

Certificates
Pilot:
[x] Private

Ratings:
Category and/or Class: [ ] ASE [x] AME [x] Land ... [x] Added Rating

Is that correct? Or did I screw the pooch somewhere...? Thanks!

The summary is correct as that is what you will have on your certificate once you pass your MEL practical. The certificates at the top of your 8710 lists what you are applying for i.e. an private multiengine land which is an added rating to you current certficate. It looks correct.
