Convert EASA PPL to FAA PPL

hi, i´d like to know if i can easily convert a EASA PPL to an FAA PPL, i need to know this because im planing to do my ppl in EU and then upgrade to CPL and ATPL in the US, is that posible?

    I wouldn’t say that anything is easy when dealing with a governmental agency, but it can be done.

    The process that FAA Inspectors are ordered to follow is in this document starting at paragraph 5-591:

    The private pilot without an instrument rating is the least complex conversion.

    Be sure to read the whole thing paying special attention to the part about the Authenticity Letter. Check paragraph 5-600.

    Lastly, remember that the Order describes how it is SUPPOSED to work, not how it actually works. In real life, some countries don’t reply to the request for authenticity or the take an excessively long time doing so. That’s not a problem with the “brand name” countries, but it can be for others.
