CFI reinstatement – Endorsements needed after failure

Asked by: 2318 views FAA Regulations, Flight Instructor

I just need to verify what endoresments I need for my retake. I know I need 61.49, but not sure about 61.39.  Oh, and do I need to log training on the items listed on the notice of disapproval?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

It would be worthwhile to read 61.49(a). It requires that you receive “the necessary training” and an endorsement. One would think that “the necessary training” would cover the items you failed.

Regarding 61.39, it it is still within the 2 calendar month period, I wouldn’t think you would need another.
