I initially trained on a Katana DV 20 for my PPL and never had any problems with braking. Now I'm learning to fly a Robin Ecoflyer. Everything's fine except that I can't brake properly / evenly. We have a really short RW (1800 ft, steep slopes in front of both THRs, also an incline, so you need to brake ASAP. I just can't brake evenly, either too much pressure left or right, I just keep up wagging the plane and end up nearly veering off the RW, and if my instructor wouldn't fix it, we'd end up in a crash. I don't know if it's psychological or anatomical or the brakes are soooo different from what I'm used to. Any advice?
