    This is a very common, ordinary approach procedure and if you are having questions about the FAF altitude for the LOC portion, it indicates you probably haven’t covered this with your instructor yet. I’d recommend you talk to him/her, or review the pertinent part of whatever ground school material you are using. The answer should be easily found there.
