    Wen,
A Cessna Caravan does not require a type rating in the U.S., as it is under 12,500 pounds maximum gross weight, and does not have a jet engine.

If you are asking about the rules in another country, we might be able to help if you specify which country.

    Hi Russ

    Thanks for the reply

You are right , no it didn’t require rating, my bad .

Does that mean I can teach students if I knew Caravan very well ?

Then give them endorsement to fly ?

    Thanks

    Wen

As far as the FAA rules, absolutely you could.

However, insurance companies and the aircraft owner may have different limitations, that is up to them and will vary from company to company.
