what’s the good point of flaperons for adverse yaw?

As it say on title,

what's the good point of flaperons for adverse yaw?

on the phak chapter 5 flight control,

it say flaperons could be counteract of adverse yaw(5-5page)

but i couldn't find exact answer and how it works.

anyone can help me about this?

    Here’s the way I’m thinking about this:

    Adverse yaw is created by the increase in induced drag resulting from the effective increase in camber from the downward aileron.

    With flaperons, both ailerons are already placed in the downward position, so the effect of adverse yaw is decreased since the flaperon on the opposite side is similarly downplaced (simply less, thus rolling motion). Since the opposite aileron is placed down to some degree, you could argue that it counteracts the adverse yaw that would normally be present.
