Hi ,

my question is about AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT CERTIFICATE . ( ATP )

I Took Atp test before 1 August it mean I can take ATP check ride with the old regulations . Until 1 August 2016

I hold my certificate Private Pilot with instrument rating, Colombian commercial pilot license with type rating on 737. and 2100 hours

but I have some Problem with my visa and I can not go to states to take the exams before the limit day and my written exam can expire soon With the old regulation . And after that I need take again Atp training and the cost will be impossible .

I found a flight school in Curacao with Two C -172 with registration N (US registration tail number)

¿Can I take my test in Curacao With does Cessna-172?

I need special requirements Previously Requested to the FAA FSDO ?

thanks

Juan

You will need to perform the practical test in a multi-engine airplane. A C-172 will not work.

I have an ATP-airplane written that I passed within the last 24 months, and before 1 August 2014. Can I use that written to get both the single-engine and multi-engine ATP ratings, without taking the CTP?
Only if you do the multi-engine rating first. A written taken before 1 August 2014 can be used for either an ATP-airplane single engine or ATP-airplane multi engine checkride up until its expiration date (24 calendar months following the month of the test). However, the examiner will collect that written from you during your checkride. If you take the multi-engine checkride first, no additional written is required for the single-engine checkride, as specified in FAR 61.165(e):
