Ground Instructor Certificate Question

Hello all!

So I have recently taken (and passed) my written exams for the FOI, AGI, and IGI certificates and am ready to submit my paperwork.  I called my local FSDO office, and left a message to schedule an appointment to get everything submitted.  That was about a week ago and I haven't heard anything back.

So my question is this:  Is there any certain requirement that I submit my paperwork at my local FSDO, or can I see if another FSDO office will return my calls?  It would be about the same driving distance to go to another FSDO than the local office that covers my area.

Any help is appreciated!

Yes, any FSDO can issue the certificate.

Also, DPEs who are authorized can also issue Ground Instructor certificates, although they may charge you for the service.
