Logging PIC Time for R-22/44 Flights
Asked by: Cobra Pilot 4371 views FAA Regulations, Helicopter
I'm a military helicopter pilot, helicopter ATP and Helicopter CFI/I. I've never flown in a Robinson before getting some time recently in the R-22 and R-44. R-22 was with a CFI. Can I log PIC and dual instruction time with the CFI when I am the sole manipulator of the controls? The R-44 time was with a private pilot, can I log PIC time when at the controls flying with him? I'm a rated helicopter pilot but don't know if the rating for PIC time means that I need to have a flight review in the aircraft?
