    If you contrast the wording in 61.123(c) which requires and endorsement for the knowledge test with the wording in 61.153(g), it appears that at this time, no endorsement is required for the ATP knowledge test.

    That will change after July 31, 2014 for the ATP multi-engine airplane knowledge test. After July, you will need a graduation certificate from an authorized training center in order to take the ATP knowledge test. 61.153(e)
