Hi, could someone please explain the difference between emphasis and fixation in instrument scans?

They both seem to be looking at one instrument too much.

Many thanks,

Jay

Both are looking at one instrument but fixation is only looking at one instrument and disregarding all the others.

“Emphasis” is a precursor to fixation. It’s giving undue importance to one instrument in relation to the others. Fixation, giving sole attention to one instrument to the exclusion of others, is a potential by-product.

Two flavors of the same concept.
