High Alt Endorsement

Asked by: 3456 views FAA Regulations

Hello,

What endorsements to i need to log time in a PC12?

I know a high performance is needed and perhaps a high alt endorsment. Ive heard speculation regarding the type of time logged. Maybe not logging PIC but logging another type. I dont have high alt.. how can/can i log time?

The FAA distinguishes between acting as PIC and logging PIC. Without the high altitude, complex and HP endorsement you may not act as PIC in the PC-12; assuming you have a SEL certificate, however, you may log PIC time whenever you are the sole manipulator of the controls.
