Is this legal to practice approaches with only one page of approach plate?

Every time when my instructor and I preparing to shot some approaches he always print approach plates from the internet (airnav, skyvector) and I am just wandering if this legal.

As long as you have current and official information – printing them off on your own is just fine.

Of course. I carry an up to date set of approach charts on my GPSMAP 696 and on my iPad with Foreflight, but I also carry a printed copy for my departure, destination, and alternate airport. If you have to divert and don’t have an approach chart for the airport you can also obtain the chart information verbally from the controller. If you have a GPS with a current database, all you are missing are the altitudes.

The responsibility of the PIC is to be prepared, something about having all available information for your flight. If something bad happens telling investigators you didn’t have (a current) approach chart is not an acceptable excuse. John beat me to it but if you ever need to, have the controller give it to you verbally.
