    Hello John,
     
    In 2007 the FAA revamped the wings program into a new and better program.  Since that time, the program has grown to include seaplane activities.  The new pilot proficiency program is located at http://www.faasafety.gov.
     
    There is a notice about the seawings lapel pin from the seaplane pilots association.
