Retesting after failure, is a new set of original endorsements needed as well?
Asked by: LastXdeth 5190 views FAA Regulations, Flight Instructor
I understand that if a student fails a written or a checkride, they would need to receive the 61.49 "Retesting After Failure" endorsement.
However, do they also need a new set of the original endorsements (61.35 for writtens / 61.43 for checkride/practical test + flight proficiency endorsement) OR is the original set of endorsements that they receive the first time good enough?
