Maximum Passenger weight

Asked by: 1867 views Private Pilot

I rent a C-172M from my local airport. I passed my check ride Sept of 2020. I have a friend who is a retired disabled Army Vet who is 6.5 320 lbs. Weight and balance we are fine but is there a max capacity to the right seat? I have not seen anything in the POH. Any help is appreciated. Looking to fly him to a Huey museum nearby.

There can be seat limitations. An R-22 helicopter has such a limitation. However, as far as I know, there are no limitations on Cessna 172 seats (other than the optional child’s seat in the baggage area).

You might want to put most of your fuel in the left wing.
