In the Pa 34 - 200t POH
Continuous flow type utilize a vapor return line leading back to the fuel tank
Vapor return line provides a route back to the tanks for vapor laden fuel that has been seperated in injection system.

What does mean the sentence of "vapor laden fuel that has been seperated in injection system. " ?

    Each engine returns excess fuel to the fuel tank on the same wing. When fuel is sent to the engine, a quantity much greater than the engine needs reaches the fuel controller that sets the quantity of fuel going to the engine injectors through the fuel distributor. The rest of the fuel is returned to the fuel tank. So if the engine fuel pump delivers 25 gallons an hour to the fuel controller, maybe 13 gallons goes to the running engine and the rest is recycled back to the tank. So if you are using cross feed, this presents an issue in that a fair amount of fuel is being drawn from the other side and the excess fuel is returned to the tank on the same side as the engine. You must monitor for that situation and make room in the same side tank by returning to it before the tank reads full and burn down the fuel from that tank. Otherwise, it risks overflowing and you loose fuel. Once you have burned down sufficient fuel, you can return to the cross feed from the other side. It will take less time to exhaust the fuel on the cross feed side than on the same side as the remaining engine because of how the fuel return works.
