submitting for my IGI

When I took  my instrument written exam I also took my CFII and IGI written exams. My question is, When can I submit my Passing IGI written test for certification? Do I have to take the CFI and FOI before I submit or can I just take the FOI and then submit my IGI results? I don't want my Passing IGI test results to expire. Also, Where do I submit my Test results? Do I bring them to my Local FSDO?

It’s pretty simple actually, unlike many things in aviation.

    1. Pass the FOI and IGI written tests.
    2. Make an appointment at the FSDO.
    3. Bring your test results with you to your appointment.
    4. You will be issued a temporary IGI certificate on the spot.

This does keep your FOI results good forever, you will never have to take that test again.
