Youth Headsets

Asked by: 2587 views General Aviation

Any recommendations on youth headsets? The picking looks slim, with SoftComm C-45-20 ANR Headset being one of the only ANR sets. I'm willing to pay money for my kids to have their hearing for the rest of their lives. I have a LS Zulu.2 coming and am planning on seeing how it fits them. I have a 6yo and a 2yo and would like for them to be able to go on longer family flights. Thanks!

Ive used SoftComm C-45-10 youth headsets for my kids for years, and they are great. No need to spend the extra on active noise cancelling, the passive will be enough to protect their hearing. Obviously the choice is yours, but SoftComm makes a perfectly good headset for a pilot on a budget.
