New symbol on TAF chart

As I was checking the TAF for my region, I saw a sign I never saw before..and was unable to find its meaning.

http://aviationweather.gov/taf, for KTYS, there is an broken arrow pointing down. It's where the weather is described (rain, mist...) but for this airport it's only this... no idea what it means.

A true TAF report is strictly alphanumeric, I’m guessing you were looking at the default prevailing conditions map display. If so, the only thing I can think of that looks anything like that is a wind barb, which is described just below the map options.

A single bend in the arrow is VCTS in the graphic TAF. It’s the same arrow as that in the TS depiction.
