Proposal to expand use of driver’s license as medical
Asked by: Kris Kortokrax 3499 views FAA Regulations
Got an alert from AOPA stating that Congress got tired of FAA foot dragging on the driver's license exemption proposed by AOPA/EAA.
They are proposing allowing use of driver's license to fly aircraft 6000 pounds and less, no more than 5 passengers, below 14,000 feet and 250 knots, VFR. non-commercial.
Here is a link to the bill.
