ATP Airplane cross country time – does helicopter time have to be 50NM?
Asked by: J 4605 views FAA Regulations
Hi all.
Thank you in advance for your time on this.
I know XC defined for ratings is 50 NM for airplane and 25 NM for helicopters. But if a pilot is trying to get thier ATP Airplane and they have both airplane and helicopter XC time, do you think the helicopter XC time will only count if it is 50 NM as it is for the airplane ATP rating?See wording at 61.1 and 61.159
Thank you again for your thought/time on this,
Jay
