Adisory panel test..

there is an advisory panel in the aircrat.

1. why we do test it?

2. what if there is no illuminataion when i push it, what would be the problem?

3. what it exactly manages?

    1. Advisory panels where incorporated in order to alert pilots to falters that are or could be safety related, such as oil pressure, alternator issues, vacuum failure, etc. You test it to make sure it works. In most airplanes- such as the Cessna 172- the airplane is not airworthy if the advisory panel is inoperative.
    2. If it does not work refer to FAR 91.213.
    3. What it manages is airplane specific. Usually critical systems.
