GIV / ERJ-190 Recurrent question

I completed my initial giv oct 2010 , my last flight was in may 2011 , I also completed  initial erj-190 in sep 2011. I this case to be current in G-IV do i need to a recurrent or an initial course ?

    It depends on the regulations under which you fly. Part 91 ops requires a recurrent. Part 135 ops requires a modified initial depending on the training program approved by the FAA.
